Welcome to 01studio by Luciano Salvemini (Lukas): renowned arranger, composer, conductor and multi-instrumentalist for film, television, recording studio and concert hall. Lukas’s career has taken him on a musical journey which spans a myriad of disciplines, from the glittering world of musical theatre, to the vigorous metallic sounds of rock bands, from large, shimmering classical orchestral works to the experimental ambience of electronic jazz. Here you will find details of all recent and current projects, extensive credit lists, discography, and audio clips. 


Collaborations with artists of the calibre of Andrea Bocelli, Marta Sanchez, Bobby Solo, Zenima and Rai television, have continued to spotlight Salvemini’s growing artistry, musical flexibility, and original approach. Universal, Sony BMG, Sugar and Rai are just a few of the well-respected record labels with whom the gifted composer-arranger has forged fruitful, lasting partnerships.

The project IPNOTICA - WAVE e_MOTION  was born from the integration of his musical hinterland, with the other cultural realities seized. The record reveals the character of a complete artist, in search of a new meeting point between modern technology, electronic and the most traditional classical instrumentation like that of the woodwind instruments and string orchestra.

•Salvemini was born in Puglia in Italy. It was in his native land of song that he honed his innate passion and talent for music-making. He graduated with full marks from the Conservatoire Tito Schipa in Lecce. His studies included composition, orchestral arrangement and electronic music. His musical awareness flourished under the guidance of several world renowned musicians, such as Mr William Navy,  and Romeo Rimbu, the Romanian conductor.

• Luciano Salvemini’s deep understanding of the classical music tradition and his equal willingness to take risks and to explore musical boundaries are the hallmarks of his skillful, inspired work as a composer and arranger. From an early age, he dedicated himself to piano composition. A more in-depth study of this discipline enabled him to consequently compose music for diverse combinations of instruments and in various genres, including classical, sacred, crossover, musical, pop, salsa, rock, lounge and jazz .

•A sensitive and gifted pianist as well as a formidable arranger, Luciano Salvemini has been an indispensable member of RNS Musica Italia, where he has held the position of Official Arranger for numerous years, in addition to his former role for Yamaha Musica Italia in Milan as resident pianist and sound consultant.

• Salvemini first came to prominence in 1998 when he composed, arranged and conducted his composition, “Butterfly”, performed and released by A. Bocelli and Zenima at the celebrated Festival of Sanremo in 1998.  His success at the festival was affirmed six years later when his arrangement of “Sei la vita mia”, performed by ‘Mario Rosini’, claimed second prize at the ‘Festival of Sanremo’. His award-winning work has since become a favourite with the Italian public and has received countless performances throughout the country and abroad. Since then, he has received numerous commissions for small- and large-scale original works.  His unique approach to film soundtracks means he is much in demand. His most recent forays into cinema include the soundtracks for Jesus (Millenium Film), Sigle (Blu Film), Le bande (Domasya Film), and La mia verita’ (in production). Salvemini is captured, arguably, at his most fluid and most innovative when writing for his  newly-formed jazz group ‘Ipnotica ‘, based on the concept of ‘nu jazz’ (interview).

•He currently operates at ‘Musicando Studios’ in ROME and Crescendo studios' in BARI and is proficient in the use of electronic recording equipment, multimedia programming, graphics, photography, and video-editing, such as Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

•SALVEMINI HAD PUBLISHED 24 MUSICAL ALBUM (with true instruments, no midi).
